Jasper was very excited the day two pumpkins arrived with the shopping. Although he had no idea what to do with them, they certainly amused him. They were of course for calving for Halloween, not for eating. Although they are great value and easy to cook with, I’m afraid none of us [...] The Funky shoes My youngest daughter came back from school on Monday declaring she needed to have some “funky shoes” for Friday of this week. The reason being was for her own school’s effort at fund-raising for Children in Need. The children were asked to wear “funky and Wacky footwear” and pay a donation [...] 
Yesterday I was in the supermarket and spotted a huge box of fabulous pumpkins. They just looked wonderful, all these orange rounded vegetables. If taking a photo wouldn’t have seemed odd, I would have photographed them. And they were cheap at only £1.50 each. Great for such a large vegetable. Shame The Family Jen [...]
