Lashes seem to be big just now. So much so that false lashes have become common place with not only celebrities but also us common folk. But let’s face it, false lashes aren’t always practical, or easy to put on. Plus, I really don’t want my thirteen daughter using them. She has lovely natural eye lashes. She’s only just started wearing a little makeup with permission.
So I thought it was ideal for Lu to try out This Studio mascara wardrobe. The box comes with three different mascaras (one for volumising, one for lengthening and one for curling), a lash and brow gel, and an eyelash curler. There are also useful tips on how to apply the mascara.
They are presented in a nice fashion, and with easy to follow instructions for those that aren’t quite sure of what they are doing (my daughter). So I let Lu try them out, one by one and this is what she found.
After trying out the curler, with a little nervousness, she found it rather easy to use. Not so daunting after all.
Lu particularly liked the brush for this one (all three have different brushes that are explained inside the box). This was Lu’s favourite mascara.
Lu is delighted to now own her own mascara wardrobe, and feels I think a little more grown up that I have let her have it. All her friends have been ogling it since it arrived.
The mascara itself was a nice consistency and didn’t make hideous globules.

Appearance: The packaging is rather stylish. Lu was taken with the way it opened, with a door on the front so you can see inside. There is advice and help written on the inside, which is helpful for early learners like Lu. Its not childish either, so ideal for teenagers. 4/5
Value The mascara wardrobe costs £7.99 from Superdrug, which I think is good value for three mascaras. Plus the curlers. A good price for say a Christmas present. 5/5
Convenience It’s good to have all three mascaras in one box, to choose the one that suits the mood or look. 4/5
Thank you to Superdrug for the Mascara Wardrobe
